English Language Proficiency Requirements
At Sundance College, English is the primary language of instruction. All applicants must be able to communicate effectively in English to succeed in classroom learning and practicum activities.
Applicants can demonstrate English proficiency through previous education completed in English or by meeting approved language test score requirements.

How to Meet the Requirement
Applicants may meet Sundance College’s English language proficiency requirements through one of the following options:
- Successful completion of Grade 12 English Language Arts in Alberta, or an equivalent course from another province or country where English was the primary language of instruction.
- Evidence of at least one full academic year of post-secondary study completed at an institution where English was the language of instruction.
- Applicants whose previous education was not delivered in English must submit valid English language proficiency (ELP) test results that meet or exceed the minimum required scores listed below:

Additional ELP Information
- Test results must be dated within two years of the Sundance College application date.
- Applicants who have completed secondary or post-secondary education in an institution where English was the primary language of instruction may be exempt from submitting an English language proficiency test.
- Sundance College reserves the right to request additional documentation or testing to verify English language ability.
