  • How do I enroll in a Course or MicroDiploma?

    To enroll in a Course or MicroDiploma, visit the page for the specific Course or MicroDiploma and click the “Enroll Now” button. You will be directed to the payment page. 

    Review your enrollment summary, enter your email address and payment details, and click submit. 

    Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email along with the credentials to access the online platform at mysundancecollege.ca

  • What will I receive once I successfully complete a MicroDiploma?

    Upon successful completion of each MicroDiploma, you will receive a MicroDiploma and a Certificate of Achievement for each course within the MicroDiploma.

  • What will I receive once I successfully complete a Course?

    Upon successful completion of each course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

  • What is the difference between a MicroDiploma and a Course?

    MicroDiplomas are intended for students who want to upgrade their skills or get a comprehensive education in a new subject. They are comprised of 2-4 courses. 

    Courses focus on specific subjects, offering students the flexibility to gain targeted knowledge without committing to a full program. They are ideal for professionals seeking to enhance particular skills or for individuals interested in exploring a single area of study in depth.

  • How do MicroDiploma credits work?

    Each Sundance College MicroDiploma has assigned credits. Each MicroDiploma you complete earns you credits that can be applied towards diplomas offered by the college. These credits accumulate as you progress, allowing you to advance your education and qualifications. For more information, please refer to the Con-Ed Policy document. 

  • How do Course credits work?

    Each Sundance College course has assigned credits. Each course you complete earns you credits that can be applied towards MicroDiplomas or diplomas offered by the college. These credits accumulate as you progress, allowing you to advance your education and qualifications. For more information, please refer to the Con-Ed Policy document.

  • Is enrolling in a MicroDiploma that includes Course A, Course B, and Course C more cost-effective than taking each course individually?

    Yes, enrolling in a MicroDiploma is usually more cost-effective because the combined cost of the courses is lower than enrolling in each course separately. 

  • Can I transfer my Con-Ed Course credits to earn a MicroDiploma?

    Yes, if you successfully complete the required courses for a specific MicroDiploma, you can use those credits to fully satisfy the MicroDiploma requirements. For example, if you complete AADF (4 Credits), AATT (2 Credits), and AHRP (3 Credits), you will be awarded the Addictions Fundamentals MicroDiploma (HAD1020) at no additional cost. For more information, please refer to the Con-Ed Policy document.

  • What happens if I don’t complete all the required courses for a MicroDiploma?

    You will receive Certificates of Achievement for each course you successfully complete, but you will not earn the MicroDiploma unless you complete all required courses.

  • Can I transfer Con-Ed credits to satisfy Diploma requirements?

    Yes, Con-Ed course and MicroDiploma credits can be applied toward diploma requirements, but only up to a maximum of 25% of the total Diploma credits. For example, if you complete AADF (4 Credits), AATT (2 Credits), and AHRP (3 Credits), you can apply 6 of those credits toward an Addictions and Community Health Professional Diploma, which requires 44 credits in total. In addition, you must meet the Admissions Entrance Requirements of the relevant program. For more information, please refer to the Con-Ed Policy document. 

  • When will I get access to the course materials after enrolling in a Con-Ed Course or MicroDiploma?

    You will receive instructions to access your course materials within 1 business day on weekdays. For purchases made on Fridays or weekends, please allow up to 3 business days. 

  • How long will I have access to my Course or MicroDiploma course books after activation?

    You will have access to a course book for 3 months after you activate the book code.

  • What is the estimated completion time of a Course or MicroDiploma?

    The estimated completion time for a Course or MicroDiploma is 3 months. 

  • Can I get a refund if I change my mind after purchasing a Con-Ed Course or MicroDiploma?

    Yes, if you request a refund within 72 hours of your purchase, you will receive a 100% refund of your tuition, lab fees, and book fees for any inactivated books. 

  • Will I get a refund for books that have already been activated?

    No, fees for any books that have already been activated will not be refunded, regardless of whether the student actually commenced coursework or not. 

  • Are Con-Ed students bound by the same policies as regular diploma students?

    Con-Ed students are bound by the Con-Ed Student Policies and the Sundance College Student Handbook. However, if there is a conflict between the two, the Con-Ed Student Policies takes precedence. Diploma students and international students are not bound by the Con-Ed Student Policies.

  • You will quickly confirm your qualification to study at Sundance College in a confidential interview – for free – with one of our Admissions Advisors.
  • As a general overview, the minimum requirement for being admitted to Sundance College is a high school diploma.
  • Students not having a high school diploma or equivalency can apply as a mature student.
  • In the same interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss your career aspirations and ensure that you are choosing the best program match.
  • You will also be submitted to a Career Assessment to validate you have the essential skills and abilities required to successfully complete our diploma program.
  • Our experienced Admissions Advisors can also provide special guidance in case you have any specific challenge to enter the college.
